John Casper Whitaker

John Casper Whitaker passed away on February 12, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Jay Jones officiating. Immediately following the service, family and friends will meet at his son's home, 231 Madison South Drive, Macon, Georgia. Mr. Whitaker was born on December 16, 1933 in Randolph County, Georgia to the late William Henry Whitaker and the late Tiny Lee Worsham Whitaker. He retired from Blue Bird Body Company in 1996. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Whitaker Durry. Survivors include his wife, Dorothea Whitaker; sons, Dennis (Janice) Whitaker, Kenneth Whitaker and Joey Whitaker; step-daughter, Julie Hickman; step-son, David (Linda) Williamson; sisters, Laurie Perry (Richard), Janice Shuman (Bob), and Jackie Robberts (Chuck).
