John A. Krueger

Macon- John A. Krueger, 71, of 2984 Clairmont Avenue, died Monday, April 25, 2011. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, #359, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mr. Krueger, son of the late Ernestine "Tina" Durant Krueger, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He retired from DuPont and moved to Macon, Georgia in 1991. An avid bowler, he bowled at Gold Cup every week on Monday night and on Thursday morning. He loved salt water fishing and was a member of Marion Gun Club. Mr. Krueger is survived by his wife, Karin Krueger of Macon; sister, Diane Lund of Toms River, New Jersey; nieces and nephews, Cheryl Newman (Gary) of Jackson, New Jersey, Gregory Lund (Caroline) of Edison, New Jersey, Eric Lund (Maureen) of Brick, New Jersey, and Susan Lund (Mike Devito) of Toms River, New Jersey; mother-in-law, Bertha Lauterbach of Macon, Georgia; aunt, Heidi Schroeder of Venice, Florida; six great-nephews and three great-nieces.
