John William Culves, Sr.

Macon- John William Culves, Sr., 82, of 108 Park Lane Place, died Thursday, July 22, 2010. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11:00AM on the family's property in Wise, Virginia. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Sturgill's Funeral Home in Wise, Virginia. Mr. Culves, son of the late John Clarence Culves and Hannah Meyer Culves, was predeceased by his sister, Bernice Zima and his brother, Earl Culves. Mr. Culves is survived by his wife, Thelma Culves of Macon; children, Patricia McKinon of Florida, Merlyn Wampler of Virginia, Joi Kudirka (David Rensch) of Virginia, Frank Kudirka (Jamie) of Virginia, Lana Pike (Ricky) of Virginia and John W.
