John E. Boggs

John E. Boggs, 70, of Musella, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022.  The family will greet friends Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hart’s at the Cupola.  Burial will be held Friday, April 8, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. CST at Pine Hill Cemetery, Pine Hill, Alabama.

Son of the late Ed Lacy and Millie Gray Cox Boggs, John loved raising cows.  He enjoyed fishing and watching the Atlanta Braves.

John is survived by his wife, Faye Thistlewood Boggs of Musella; children, Dana Boggs, Carey Sheffield (Matt), both of Selma, Alabama, and Barry Boggs of Pasadena, Texas; stepsons, Brent Williamson, Will Battle (Leslie), and Ashley Battle, all of Macon; grandchildren, Triton Sheffield, Alexandria Sheffield, Bailey Boggs, John Boggs, Josh Boggs, and Haley Boggs; brothers, Randy Boggs, Stan Boggs, Ken Boggs, and Lynn Boggs, all of Alabama; and nephew, Tyler Boggs of Pine Hill, Alabama.

Hart’s at the Cupola, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210 has charge of the arrangements.
