Joan Yancey

Mrs. Joan Yancey passed away at her home Wednesday evening April 27, 2016. Raised in Dodge County, she lived most of her life in Macon. She worked at Robins Air Force Base for forty-three years and served as a bailiff at the Bibb County Court House for ten years. Mrs. Yancey was predeceased by her husband, William Yancey; her parents, Lonnie C Mullis, Sr. and Leone Joiner Mullis; and a brother, Lonnie C. Mullis, Jr. Mrs. Yancey is survived by a sister, Madeline Adams of Macon; a brother, Gene Mullis of Dublin; a couple of nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00PM at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 1:00PM until 1:40PM at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street.
