Joan Kitchens

Macon- Joan Kitchens, 69, died peacefully in her home on Monday April 4, 2011. A life long resident of Jones County, she was retired as an aide to Dr. Earl Lewis, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Elmer, son Darrell (Stella), daughter Donna (Keith), grandchildren Lee, Ross (Dani), Lane and Cassie, and great-grandson Bentely. A memorial service and celebration of Joan's life will be held at Morningside Baptist Church on Jeffersonville Road, Macon on Wednesday April 6 at 11:00am. Friends and family are invited.
