Joan Stevens Boyd

Joan Stevens Boyd, 71, died Sunday, September 22, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Hart's at the Cupola with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. Family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice of Macon, 6060 Lakeside Commons Drive, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mrs. Boyd was a lifelong resident of Macon. She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James B. Stevens. Survivors include her husband, Doug Boyd of Macon; two daughters, Lori Hudson Peavy (Brian) of Macon, and Lisa Hudson Farmer of Savannah; and six grandchildren, Emily Peavy, Jake Peavy, Lily Peavy, Wesley Farmer, Matthew Farmer, and Grace Farmer.
