Jimmidine Davenport

Jimmidine Davenport went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2015 after a brief illness. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her husband, Harold G. Davenport and son, Harold G. Davenport, Jr., preceded her in their homegoing. Mrs. Davenport was a lifelong resident of Macon, a graduate of Miller High School and Macon College School of Nursing. Working as a registered nurse for over twenty years, she was dearly loved by her patients and co-worker friends. Her love for the Lord and devotion to her family and friends characterized her life. She was in fellowship at Bethany Bible Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will greet friends Wednesday, September 16, 2015 between 6:00-8:00pm at the Cupola. Survivors include her daughters, Dina-Marie Oswald (John) and Elise Davenport; ten grandchildren: Tyler (Jessica), Spencer (Christina), Alyssa Naugher (Landon), Silas, Louisa, Julian, Christoph, Zane, Merrill, and Isabella Oswald; eight great grandchildren: Olivia, Jason, Piper, Zoe, and Sawyer Oswald; Claire, Charlie, and Oliver Naugher.
