Jewell Wallace Mimbs passed away peacefully at Brightmoor Hospice in the early morning of Saturday, May 2, 2026. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Baptist Church, 3400 Gray Hwy Gray, GA. Her family will host a time for visitation an hour prior to the service, in the same location. A private burial will follow services in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Born June 17, 1933, in Model, Tennessee, to the late Harmon and Fannie Brandon Wallace, Jewell was a lifelong follower of Christ. She was an active member of Greenwood Baptist Church until her move to Alexander IV Senior Living Memory Care. Jewell built a career with Keebler, retiring after 42 years worked and many titles held. She was also a loving wife and mother, never failing to spend time with her family. Her absence will leave a huge void in the hearts and lives of the family and friends that loved her dearly.
