Jett V.W. Smith

Jett V.W. Smith, 75, of Gray, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025. Burial will be private.

Son of the late Carl Lynwood Smith and Joyce Darlene Brassell Smith, Jett was born in Augusta, Georgia on November 2, 1949. He worked as a finance manager for Credit First for many years and was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the Georgia Salzburger Society.

Jett is survived by his brothers, Carl Stephen Smith of Birmingham, Alabama and Sam Smith (Virginia) of Guyton, Georgia; sisters, Lisa Evins (Gary) of Pensacola, Florida and Susan Smith of South Carolina; nieces and nephews, John Smith, Katherine Ward (Robert), Sarah Blankenship, Michelle Evins, Jody Bellflower, Jay Bellflower, and Joanna Paszek.

In addition to his parents, Jett was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy Anne Wall Smith.
