Jessie Mae Shouse

Jessie Mae Shouse, 97, of Gray passed away December 1, 2020. A graveside service will be Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Macon Memorial Park with the Reverend Steve Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Jessie was born December 13, 1922 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Floyd and Irene Cummings.  She is survived by her daughter, Jean M. Shouse of Macon, Georgia; son, Julius S. “Sambo” Shouse, Jr. (Joyce) of Portland, Oregon; one granddaughter, Janine Shouse of Portland, Oregon; beloved nieces and nephews, Helen Dixon Hall (Leroy), Suzanne Dixon Cotton (Stacy), Patsy Hudson McCullough, Toby Hudson McCormick; her adopted family, Paul Hoinowski, Joanne Hoinowski; and her best friend, Patsy Bevill.  Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Samuel Shouse; sister, Betty Cummings Mansell and many beloved nieces and nephews.
