Jesse Chambley

Macon-Jesse J. "Pug" Chambley, 75, died December 21, 2008. Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road with the Reverend Chris Monton officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Chambley served 20 years in the United States Air Force and was awarded a Korean service medal, two Air Force commendation medals, as well as numerous other awards during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a lifetime member of the DAV. Mr. Chambley was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.

Mr. Chambley was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Weeks Chambley; and his daughter, Tonya Diane Chambley. He is survived by two children, Anthony Mark Chambley, and Timothy Michael (Julie) Chambley; one grandson, Michael Chambley; one granddaughter, Tandy Chambley; two great grand children, Zoey Vanburnt, and Danny Adams.
