Jerry Stocks

Jerry L. Stocks, of Macon, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015. He was born March 22, 1941, in Fulton County. He was retired from the United States Army and United States Air Force Reserves and also retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Stocks served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 2PM, at Riverside Cemetery with Reverend Danny Lyles officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, February 13, 2015, from 6PM until 8PM, at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road NE, #M20, Atlanta, GA 30326. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Leslie W. Stocks, his mother, Mabel Howell Stocks, his step-mother, Agnes Stocks, and his sister, Patty Bostick of Winston Salem, NC. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Bennett Stocks, daughters, Mandy (Marty) Stocks of Macon, Marie Stocks of Gray, and one granddaughter, Amber Thompson, brother, Bobby (Cindy) Stocks, sister, Trenia Evans and many nieces and nephews.
