Jerry E. Culp

Culp, Jerry E. 67, of Goshen, Indiana passed from this life to his heavenly home on August 3, 2021, in Irwinton, Georgia. He was born in Goshen, Indiana to Elwood E. and Martha (Card) Culp on June 7, 1954. Jerry was a 1971 graduate of Fairfield High School.  He loved farming from a young age and his parents encouraged that dream by buying him his first farm and he made it his life passion until he passed away.  Jerry loved his Dutch Belted Galloway cows along with his other farm animals, and his most recent venture was the honeybee industry. Jerry would travel the south to go to honeybee conventions just to learn the trade!   He also spent a short amount of time in the Cheese Making Industry as a Master Cheese Maker!  He was always wanting to be involved in Agriculture in some fashion. He will be dearly missed by his companion Mary Jo, son Joshua Culp(Emily), daughter Sarah Simkins(Stephen), son Stephen Culp(Crystal); sister Jan Durand(Joe); 6 grandchildren Jillian, Alexa, Alayna, Chase, Christian, & Charlotte; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.  A memorial serviced will be planned at a later date at Heart of Worship Church.  Jerry will be laid to rest with his parents at the Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, in Goshen, Indiana privately. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Hart’s Mortuary and Cremation Services.
