Jerry Dean Baldwin

Jerry Dean Baldwin, 66, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on January 17, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, in the Chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Jerry was born in Macon on December 15, 1958, to the late Fred Baldwin and Leafy Brock Baldwin.  He retired from YKK after 45 years of service.

A simple man at heart, Jerry’s love for music, cookies, and the warmth of his family was well known by all who had the pleasure of his company. He was a loving father and husband, and his memory will be held in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Sue Baldwin; children: Christopher Baldwin (Julia), Haley Baldwin (Jeff), Kaitlynn Baldwin, Josh Ragan (Crystal), and Tiffany Ragan; grandchildren: Levi Baldwin, Aubree Baldwin, Millie Ragan, Cater Ragan, and Myles Ragan; brothers: Joe Baldwin (Lavon), Russell Baldwin (Kay), Harvey Sellers (Sharon), and Kenneth Baldwin (Barbara); and sisters: Glenda Martin, Louise Keahey, and Vickie “Cookie” Morrow (Vic).

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Trina Baldwin.
