Jennie Marie Patrick Nicholson

Jennie Marie Patrick Nicholson died Saturday, February 6, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Pine Forest Baptist Church with the Reverend Jimmy Corbitt officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Memorial donations may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, 1848 Tucker Road, Macon, Georgia 31220. Mrs. Nicholson was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church for 63 years. She was active in the choir, the Rebekah Joy Sunday School Class, and the Christians on Duty. Mrs. Nicholson was a member and avid golfer at Riverside Country Club. Her greatest joys were traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Nicholson was the daughter of William Andrew and Mary Geneva Barbour Patrick and the widow of Cecil R. "Nick" Nicholson. She was also predeceased by her son, Richard William Nicholson, three sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Nicholson is survived by her daughter, Kathryn N. Gaines (Pete) of Macon; son, Gary R. Nicholson (Gail) of Surrey, England; son, Robert M. Nicholson (Diane) of Macon; 10 grandchildren: Amy Moore (Matt), Jennifer Deal (Patrick), Erin Hayes (Henley), William Nicholson (Caroline), Taylor Nicholson, Madeline Nicholson, Matthew Nicholson (Laramee), Brian Nicholson, Grant Nicholson (Jenny), Abigail Nicholson; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, William Andrew Patrick (Betty) of Selma, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.
