Jeannette Isaf Massey, 79, of 2695 Northwoods Drive, South, died Sunday, December 16, 2012. Services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Allan McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. A rosary will be said on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, "Labor of Love", 830 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Mrs. Massey was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. N. T. Isaf, formerly of Lebanon, and was predeceased by her sister, Lenora Isaf Scuderi, and brothers, George Isaf and James Isaf. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Massey was the first-honor graduate of the Mount de Sales Class of 1951 and was a member of Quill and Scroll International Honorary Society. She attended Mount Saint Agnes (now Loyola) in Baltimore, Maryland for one year and earned her AB degree with honors from Mercer University in 1955. Mrs. Massey taught school at Ellsworth Hall Elementary until her son, Michel, was born in 1960. Mrs. Massey is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, B. Joel Massey of Macon; son, J. Michel Massey of Macon; sisters, Lorene Micha of Jasper, Georgia and Elizabeth Isaf Sullivan of Macon; nieces, Jeannie Clark of Madison, Georgia and JoAnna Micha of Jasper, Georgia; nephew, John Micha of Atlanta; great-niece, Lisa.
