Jean Warren Stooksberry

Macon-Jean Warren Stooksberry, 81, died Thursday, October 20, 2011. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at North Macon Church of Christ on Bass Road with Mr. Harry O. Goff officiating. Burial will be in Minor Hill Cemetery in Tennessee. Visitation will be between 5:00-7:00PM on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road in Macon. Mrs. Stooksberry was a member of North Macon Church of Christ and Idle Hour Country Club. She was an avid cruiser, golfer, and bridge player. She volunteered with the Pink Ladies at Northside Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Walter W. Stooksberry of Macon; children, Gary W. Stooksberry (Linda) of Germantown, Tennessee, Steven Walter Stooksberry (Marty) of Louisville, Kentucky, Susan Ellen Stooksberry Cook (Buster) of Cartersville, Georgia, and W. Wade Stooksberry (Trena) of Macon; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Lois Marie Mincey of St. Augustine, Florida and Betty Tucker of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
