Jean Skinner, 71, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street. Burial will follow in New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Stephen Kitchens will officiate. The family will greet friends Friday, February 27 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home. The family may be contacted at the residence of Regina and Darryl Bacon, 76 Rivermist Road, Juliette, GA 31046. Mrs. Skinner was born in Macon to the late Charlie and Evelyn Clance. She was a member of Northridge Baptist Church and the Sunshine Girls. Mrs. Skinner was retired from The Coliseum Wound Healing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Loyad Skinner, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Regina Bacon (Darryl) of Juliette, GA; sons, Charles Skinner (Veronica), Brady Skinner (Felicia), and DeWayne Skinner (Niki), all of Gray, GA; grandchildren, Christi and Chad Bacon, Brooke, Michael, Joshua, Dylan, Sofia, Jackson, Levi and Jacob Skinner; great grandchildren, Ellie Joy and Fuller Bacon; brother, Marvin Clance (Timmie) of Millington, TN; and extended family and friends.
