Jean Montgomery

Jean Montgomery, 78, died Monday, July 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with The Reverends Joe McDaniel and Steve Johnson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the Cupola. Burial will be private.

Jean was the daughter of the late Daniel and Stella Mingea. She was the widow of Lewis Montgomery. Jean was a woman of great faith who loved the Lord, her children and country. She was always happy, full of personality, had a great sense of humor and loved life. Her favorite book was her Bible and she spent most of her days reading it and praying for her family.

She is survived by her children, Herb Montgomery (Jane) of Macon, Greg Montgomery (Jackie) of Juniper, Georgia, Kim Intorcia (Jim) of Macon, David Montgomery (Debbie) of Juliette, Georgia; ten grandchildren, Mary Montgomery, Martha Montgomery, Christine Montgomery, Rebekah Montgomery, Gina Blakely (Adam), Jimmy Intorcia, Suzanne Intorcia, Luke Montgomery (Samantha), Crickett Montgomery, and Sam Montgomery.
