Jean House Knight

Macon- Martha Jean House Knight died Friday December 24, 2010. Graveside services will be held Monday December 27, 2010, at 2:00PM at Riverside Cemetery entering through the north gate. The Reverend Andy Oxford will officiate. Mrs. Knight was born in Macon, GA on March 22, 1930, to Ruth E. Craine House and Dempsey R. House. She graduated from Miller High School in Macon. Mrs. Knight was a member of Vineville Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday School and was a member of the Bell Choir. She loved music and studied piano at Wesleyan Conservatory and also learned to play the violin. Mrs. Knight was a former Board member of the Museum of Arts and Sciences and the Appleton Church Home. She loved her family, music, accounting and people. Mrs. Knight is survived by her husband, Richard H. Knight, sons and daughter in law, Skeebo Knight (Debbie), John Knight, all of Macon; Sister, Marie Hill (Monroe) of Macon, GA. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
