Jason "Jay" Gay

Jason "Jay" Gay, of Macon, was born September 27, 1968 and passed away Monday, September 3, 2012. Services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Dr. Tim Bagwell officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675. Jay was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in the first Gulf War. He attended Georgia College and Mercer University and was formerly employed by L.H. Thompson. He loved music and was an avid guitarist. Jay was also an avid sports fan and cyclist. Jay, beloved son and brother is survived by his mother, Sherry Gay; father, Ernest Gay; sister, Ginger Gay Hess and brother-in-law, Steve Hess. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
