Jarrell Frank Strickland

Jarrell Frank Strickland, 74, of Macon, died Thursday, January 28, 2021. The family will greet friends Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hart’s at the Cupola. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at Hart’s Chapel of the Cupola.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd, Ste 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

Mr. Strickland serviced in the United States Navy Seabees from 1968 until 1970.  He was the owner of J.F. Strickland Construction Company.  Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Frank Floyd Strickland.

Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife, Sheila Simon Strickland of Macon; children, Stephanie Strickland Koehler (Stephen) of Macon, Jason Jarrell Strickland and (Melissa) of Warner Robins, Georgia ; grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Madelyn, Anna Grace,  Zachary, Lane, Payton, Ethan, Emma, and Reid; mother, Julia Kaminer Strickland of Fayetteville, Georgia; brothers, Rocky Strickland (Melba) of Yatesville, Georgia, Jeff  Strickland (Debra) of Fayetteville, Georgia; sister, Ellen Guthrie of Fayetteville; and many nieces and nephews.
