Janice Kitchens Self

Janice Kitchens Self, 63, of 2741 Nowell Drive, died Friday, January 30, 2009. Services will be held Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 2:00PM at Central Fellowship Baptist Church with the Reverend Rodney Queen officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Saturday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Central Fellowship Christian Academy, 8460 Hawkinsville Road, Macon, GA 31216.

Mrs. Self was a 1962 graduate of Bleckley County High School. She was a charter member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church.

Mrs. Self is survived by her sons, Judge Tilman E. "Tripp" Self, III (Carlen) of Macon and Michael Shane Self (Amy) of Perry; grandchildren, Dalton Self and Colby Self, both of Perry and Walker Manning Self of Macon; brother, Freddy G. Kitchens of Cary, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
