Janice B. Gordon

Mrs. Janice Gordon, 71, of Macon, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.  Funeral services will be held Monday, September 25, 2023, at Hart’s Mortuary Cherry Street Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with the Reverend Marty Watson and the Reverend Tim Peavy officiating.  Burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Macon will follow the service. The family will greet friends Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Hart’s Mortuary Cherry Street Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

As someone who knew the meaning of hard work, Mrs. Gordon worked for twenty-four years as an X-ray technician for the Piedmont Macon Coliseum Hospital.  Mrs. Gordon was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church and a good Christian woman.  Those who knew her will remember her sweet nature and her love and devotion for her family.

Janice is survived by her husband of 50 years, Randy Gordon, of Macon; children, Renee Fernandes and Christopher Gordon, both of Warner Robins, Georgia; brother, Oscar Ray Bryant of Macon; and her beloved pet and “grand dogs”, Max, Tilly, and Nova.
