Jane Vaughan Walker

Macon- Jane Vaughan Walker, 66, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009 following a sudden illness. Born in Greensboro, NC to the late George Henry and Eula Cheek Vaughan, she was a resident of Macon and Wilmington, NC. She worked in radio and television advertising sales for thirty years and was active in the Ad Club of Central Georgia. Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Harris Walker, Jr. of Macon, GA and Wilmington, NC; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Walker of Kingston, NY and Laura Walker Ormes of Brooklyn, NY; and two brothers, William M. Vaughan of Wilson, NC and George H. Vaughan of Durham, NC. Family visitation will be from 2:00PM until 4:00PM on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, in Macon. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 2:00PM at the Wrightsville Beach United Methodist Church in Wrightsville Beach, NC.
