Jane Canady "Tweedy" Everett

Mrs. Jane Canady "Tweedy", 75, of Albany died Sunday October 20, 2024 at her residence. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Rev. Charles Canady (Jane) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She attended Wesleyan College in Macon, GA where she met her husband, Ed. They moved to Albany in 1973 and resided until her death. Tweedy's joy was being a wife and mother to her children. She loved and cared for her grandchildren immensely, who knew her their G.G. Tweedy was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Stephen Everett. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ed Everett of Albany; her children Ed Everett Jr. (Monica) of Leesburg, Clayton Everett (Amanda) of Albany, and Jennifer Hatcher (Sean) of Leesburg; grandchildren Abby Everett, Kauldin Everett, Conner Everett, Carly Everett, Riley Knight, Emma Knight, and Stephen Hatcher. Her siblings Charles Canady Jr. (Kathy) of Boone, NC and Jennifer Swindal of Jacksonville, FL. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday Oct 26, 2024 11:30 AM at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, GA.
