Jane Rose Mcintire

MACON - Services for Jane Rose McIntire are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at Hart\'s Mortuary at the Cupola. Born December 29, 1921, in Mason County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Robert Boling Rose and Lula Lyons Rose. Mrs. McIntire died February 3 following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edgar C. Preston and John S. McIntire, Jr. A homemaker, she lived in Macon for the past 13 years after moving from Clearwater, FL, where she had lived for 40 years. Prior to that, she lived in Dayton, OH. For 20 years, she was the president of the Clearwater Bowling Association. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Angelo Smith of Macon, Barbara A. LaBanz of Valdosta and Delores A. Hamm of Alpharetta; one sister Claire Lovett of Canton, GA and 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
