Jane Ann Crochiere

Jane Ann Crochiere, 99, of Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away on December 21, 2024.

Daughter of the late William Fasano and Marie Hubener Fasano, Jane was born in Staten Island, New York on December 14, 1925.  She worked for many years as a registered nurse, bringing comfort and care to countless individuals throughout her career. Her unwavering commitment to her profession was paralleled only by her deep love for her family.

Jane was married for 40 years to Bernard A. Lewis, until his death in 1987. Additionally, she was married to Valmore C. Crochiere until his death in 2005. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Teresa Travell of Gray, Georgia, Margaret “Peggy” Eifler of New York, and Patricia Cady of New York; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard A. Lewis, and her second husband of 17 years, Valmore C. Crochiere; and her sons, Thomas Lewis, Bernard A. Lewis, Jr., and Vincent Lewis, III.
