Jane Jones Cochran

Jane Jones Cochran, 89, of Macon, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022.  A visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hart’s Chapel at the Cupola with the Reverend Joey Ellis officiating.  The burial will be held at Parker Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stone Edge Church, 5659 Zebulon Rd, Macon, GA 31210.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Lillie Parker Jones, Mrs. Cochran was a member of Stone Edge Church.  She was a retired accountant for Peeler Hardware.  Mrs. Cochran was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Cochran, Sr.; sisters, Sara Jones, Ruth Jones Ferguson, Fay Jones Nicholas, and Rose Jones Barnette; brothers, Thomas Milton “Red” Jones, Wilson Marvin “Joe” Jones, Charlie Jones, Edward Ray Jones, Cecil Aubrey Jones, Robert Watson Jones, James Parker Jones, and Frederick Jones.

Mrs. Cochran is survived by her children, Debra Jane Grisham (Tim), Ronda Cochran Stahlman (Ray), and Chuck Cochran, all of Macon; grandchildren, Tiffany Bertram (Adam), Travis Grisham (Whitney), Rachel McKnight (Jamie), Parker Stahlman (Caroline), and Elizabeth Cochran; great grandchild, Ethan Bertram, Ryan Bertram, Logan Bertram, and Knox McKnight; sister, Betty Jones Carlisle of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Zebulon Park and Rehabilitation for their years of compassion of Mrs. Cochran.
