Jan Mcgaughey

Jan McGaughey, 82, of Macon, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Macon Duplicate Bridge Club, 1070 Southshore Pl, Macon, GA 31204 or the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, PMB 359, Macon, GA 31210.

Mrs. McGaughey was a graduate of A.L. Miller High School and retired from Boone Orthodontics.  She was an avid bridge player at the Macon Duplicate Bridge Club. Mrs. McGaughey was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Newman McGaughey; son, Sam McGaughey; and brother, George Lee Edwards, Jr.

Mrs. McGaughey is survived by her daughter, Holly McGaughey of Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Lauren Evan McGaughey of Chicago, Zachary McGaughey of Savannah, Mary Brett Anderson of Athens, and Emma Anderson of Savannah; and brother, Douglas Edwards of Atlanta.
