James Robert Williams

James Robert Williams, 73, of Gray, passed away March 16, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, Georgia 31032. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Mr. Williams was an air traffic controller supervisor for the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. Mr. Williams is survived by his sons, Chris Williams (Andrea) of Gray, Robert "Bobby" Williams of Gray, and Samuel Williams (Mary) of Swainsboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Garrett Williams of Gray, Taylor Williams of Gray, Lindsey Hodnett (Devyn) of Augusta, Georgia, Robbie Williams of Indiana, and Kayleigh Carnegie of Indiana; great grandchild, Brooks Hodnett of Augusta; and sister Patricia Yeatman (Bill) of Alexander City, Alabama.
