James Edward Rybicki

James Edward Rybicki, 73, of Macon, passed away July 17, 2018. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, July 23, 2018 at Hart’s at the Cupola with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Mr. Rybicki served in the United States Air Force then retired from Robins Air Force Base after 38 years. He then worked at Kroger for 10 years. He was past president of St. Joseph’s Home and School Association and a Scout Master for St. Joseph’s. He was also a former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Rybicki was the son of the late Edward Antone and Susanna McLaughlin Rybicki.

Mr. Rybicki is survived by his wife of 50 years, Juanita Rybicki of Macon; children, Jennifer Rybicki Hernandez (Al) of Macon, John Albert Rybicki (Rene) of Warner Robins, and Rachel Rybicki Chambers of Lizella; grandchildren, Emily Chambers, Kinsley Mirabile, Madison Fairchild, Andrew Chambers; brother, Roger Rybicki (Mary Ann), Bloomington, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
