Macon- James Oda Williams, 73, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011, at Flint River Memory Community. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 22, 2011, at 10:30AM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011, from 6:00PM to 7:30PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central GA Chapter, 277 MLK Jr. Blvd suite 201, Macon, GA 31201. Jim retired from Ford Motor Company in 2000 as Field Operations Manager of Atlanta, Jacksonville, FL and South Carolina. The family extends many thanks to Flint River Memory Community and staff for their love and special care for Jim. Jim is preceded in death by parents, Retha Lee Williams Murphy of Hattiesburg, MS and Odie Williams of Wiggins, MS, and one brother, Ray Williams of Hattiesburg, MS. Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Audrey Williams of Macon; Daughter, Lori W. Cassidy (Brian) of Macon; Sister, Sylvia Helton (Jimmy) of Hattiesburg, MS; Brothers, Charles Williams (Marilyn) and Buck Williams (Dot) both of Hattiesburg, MS and many nieces and nephews.
