James Allen Mann, Sr., 61, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on March 26, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola with Dr. Scott Nash officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens, U.S. Highway 41, Forsyth, Georgia.
Son of James Alan Theodore Mann and the late Imogene Gates Mann, James was born in Macon on August 30, 1963. A passionate martial artist, James achieved the rank of a 5th degree black belt and honorary 6th degree black belt by Chun-Ji Tae Kwon Do. His discipline and skill were an inspiration to all who knew him. James was an extremely hard working, fun loving, no-nonsense, and God-fearing man. He was a dedicated and supportive husband, devoted and doting father, and an unbelievably honest and true friend.
James is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Stephanie Mann; and their two sons, James Mann Jr., and Joshua Mann; step-son, Melvin Owens; also survived by daughter, Jadralyn Mann; sons, Jarail Mann, Javarus Mann, and Jaleel Taylor; eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; father, James A. T. Mann; sisters: Kathy Holman, Barbara Smith, Kasietta Mann, and Joyce Mann-Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.
