James Joseph "Jim" Hevican

James Joseph "Jim" Hevican, 75, of North Sgoda Circle, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 3:00PM until 5:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity. Mr. Hevican was a former Moose Club member and a former bowler. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Audrey Hevican. Mr. Hevican is survived by his sister, Mary Cantelmi of North Carolina; children, Sarah Hodge (Steve) of Twiggs County, Darthy Carroll (Vinnie) of Florida, Shirley Avery (Hulie) of Twiggs County, Margaret Womack of Houston County and Veronica Hevican of Bibb County; grandchildren, Amanda Carr, Scott Curtis, and Daniel Ridgley; great-grandchildren, Makayla Avery and Brooklyn Carr.
