James Edwin Hatcher

Macon- James Edwin Hatcher, Jr., 62, of 4619 Ayers Road, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street with the Reverend Dr. Joseph Wolstencroft officiating. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. The family will greet friends on Friday from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Hatcher was a veteran of the United States Army. He helped operate the family owned business, Hatcher Dairy, and was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Hatcher is survived by his wife, Sheila Ann Hatcher of Macon; Jimbo Hatcher (Jessie) of Macon; sister, Carol Helmer of Macon; brother, Larry Hatcher (Faye) of Macon; sisters-in-law, Sandra Humphrey of Clarkston, Michigan and Bonnie Adams (Gary) of Macon; brother-in-law, Arthur Themm (Katherine) of Pontiac, Michigan.
