James Paul Harmon

James Paul Harmon, 70, passed away November 21 at Coliseum Hospital. Mr. Harmon was born in Macon, graduated from Lanier High School, Macon Jr. College, and Middle Georgia College. He was a local businessman for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick E. Harmon, Sr., and Martha Young Harmon. He is survived by two brothers, Fred (Mary) Harmon, Evans, Ga., and David Harmon, Louisville, Ky.; 2 cousins, Faye Bazemore, and Richard (Bernadette) Knopf; 4 nieces, Sandra (Mike) Sims, Patricia (Alan) Tillman, Cathryn Harmon (Ravine Wijeratne), Letitia (Paul) Garceau, 5 great-nephews and nieces, and a close friend, Adam West. The family will hold a private memorial on a later date. Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel has charge of arrangements.
