James Richard Halligan

February 6, 1926 — March 26, 2020

James Richard Halligan, 94, of Warner Robins, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020.  A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the current health circumstances.

Son of the late Jim H. and Alice Thompson Halligan, Mr. Halligan was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.  He served in the Battle of the Bulge, where he earned a Purple Heart.  After his service in the Army, he served in the Georgia National Guard.  Mr. Halligan was a licensed electrician for 4-Way Electric for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Jackson Halligan, and his granddaughter, Cindy Wallace.

Mr. Halligan is survived by his daughter, Linda Ramsey of Centerville, Georgia; granddaughter, Julie Harris (Randy) of Aurora, Oregon; grandson, Hunter Ramsey (Chrischel) of Canton, Georgia; and four great-grandchildren, Joshua Wallace, Justin Wallace, Shaun Wallace and Luke Harris.
