James "Jay" Edward Chancellor, Jr., 56, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola with the Reverend Russell Whitehurst officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Chancellor was a former employee of the Kellogg's Company. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. He loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Chancellor was a very kind and generous person who never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruby & Charlie Sinclair of Macon, and paternal grandparents, Alma & Edward Chancellor of Macon Survivors include his parents, Jimmy & Faye Chancellor of Macon; sister, Sheila Epps (John) of Macon; two brothers, John Chancellor of Macon, and Paul Chancellor (Falon) of Evans, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Christopher Chancellor, April Epps, Hunter Chancellor, Ansley Chancellor and Sydney Chancellor; Aunts and Uncles Billy & Ann Long, and Vernon & Betty Sinclair; and several cousins.
