James Edward "Ed" Schrimshire, Sr.

Macon- James Edward "Ed" Schrimshire, Sr. died Wednesday December 16, 2009. Services will be private. The family will greet friends on Friday December 18, 2009, from 6PM until 8PM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Heart of Georgia Humane Society, P. O. Box 7554, Macon, GA 31209. Ed was a loving father and a wonderful husband of 55 years. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He loved boating and was an avid water skier. He loved people and was everybody's friend. Ed is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Schrimshire; son, James Edward "James" Schrimshire, Jr. of Dunwoody, GA; mother, Effie Mae Schrimshire of Macon; brothers, Roice Schrimshire (Sue) and Fred Skinner, both of Macon; mother-in-law, Edna Thompson of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
