James E. Moore

Macon- James E. Moore, 86, formerly of Macon, died Monday, June 1, 2009. Services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2:00PM at Vineville Baptist Church with burial in Ramah Cemetery, Wilkinson County. The Reverend Ron Holland will officiate. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the church. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, GA 31204 or to the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc. Mr. Moore was a member of Vineville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Ann L. Moore; sons, James Lane Moore of Marietta, GA and Wayne Edwin Moore of Plano, TX; sister, Charlotte Moore Grimes of Gordon, GA; and three grandchildren.
