James Larry Durden

Eatonton- James Larry Durden, of Eatonton, passed away Thursday September 24, 2009, after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held on Saturday September 26, 2009, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Graveside Services will be held Sunday September 27, 2009, at 2:30PM at Macon Memorial Park. Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Durden of Eatonton; Daughter, Penelope Couch of Eatonton; Daughter, Judy (Mike) Whiten of Milledgeville; Son, Kenneth Durden of Eatonton; Brother, William (Martha) Durden of Macon; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Durden was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Hoover and his brother, John W. Durden, Jr. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory on Cherry Street has charge of arrangements.
