James Sanford Donaldson, Sr.

Macon- James Sanford Donaldson, Sr., 68, of 18142 Highway 129, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street with the Reverend Kelly Maddox and Floyd Kaney officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hospice Care Options, 1125 Walnut Street, Macon, GA 31201. Mr. Donaldson was retired from the Boilermakers' Local #26 Union. He was predeceased by his father, William Sanford Donaldson. Mr. Donaldson is survived by his wife, Loette Conner Donaldson of Macon; sons, Joe Donaldson of Twiggs County and James S. Donaldson, Jr. (Wanda) of Jones County; grandchildren, Dusty Donaldson of Texas and Ariel Donaldson of Jones County; mother, Blanche H. Donaldson of Wrightsville, GA; sister, Phyllis Swain of Wrightsville, GA, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Online register is located at www.hartsmort.com.
