James Scott Bryan, Sr.

James Scott Bryan, Sr. passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 4770 Sardis Church Road, Macon, GA 31216. Reverend Hershel Sizemore and Reverend Tim Sizemore will officiate. Burial will follow in Glenn Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Friday 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the building fund at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Mr. Bryan was born on September 25, 1957 in Sanford, FL to Robert T. Bryan and Mildred L. Daniel. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and Oakview Golf Club. Mr. Bryan was a Pepperidge Farm distributor for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Bryan and his parents. Survivors include: his wife, Karen B. Bryan; son, James Scott Bryan, Jr.; daughter, Emily (Brandon) Purser; sister, Peggy Cox; brothers, Tommy (Corliss) Bryan, Mike (Melanie) Bryan and Bob (Debbie) Bryan; loyal companion, Simon; and several nieces and nephews.
