James Becham

James A. Becham, 84, went to be with his heavenly father on February 13, 2011. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Dr. Charles Michael Blizzard officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, North Gate. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m on Tuesday, Feburary 15, 2011 at Hart's at the Cupola. The family may be contacted at the home of Bonnie Harris.

A long time resident of Macon, Mr. Becham was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and was loved and respected by all who knew him. The focus of his life was to study the Bible, proclaim the love of his Lord and Savior and taking care of his family and friends. Mr. Becham was a charter member, deacon and Sunday school teacher at Cornerstone Baptist Church. He was a retired boilermaker from Taylor Iron Works. Mr. Becham was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Becham.

Mr. Becham is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Becham Harris of Warner Robins; two grandchildren, Jennifer A. Harris and Joel T. Harris. of Warner Robins; and a nephew and four nieces.
