James Millard Anthony

Macon-James Millard Anthony, 93, of 6191 Peake Road, died Sunday, May 8, 2011. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 10:00AM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Charles Hanson and the Reverend Hugh Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at 3:00PM at Providence Baptist Church in Centre, Alabama.

Mr. Anthony was a retired minister of Gresston Congregation Holiness Church. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Anthony was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Juanelle Gore McWhorter.

Mr. Anthony is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruby C. Anthony, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and brothers, John, Pharis and Martin Anthony all of Centre, Alabama.
