Macon-Jacqueline Vaughn Thurston, 87, died Monday, January 17, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Gene Sheffield officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. Visitation will be between 6:00-8:00PM on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Cupola. Family may be contacted at 3344 Atkins Drive.
Mrs. Thurston was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Thurston, Sr. and granddaughter, Brandee Johnson.
Survivors include her son, Charles H. Thurston, Jr. of Macon; daughters, Bobbie T. Miller (Roger) of Eads, TN, and Renee' Posey (Buster) of Hampton, GA; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
