Jacqueline "Jackie" Lamm Souder, 99, of Augusta, Georgia died on Tuesday, January 21.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery (main gate) in Macon, Georgia. The family will greet friends for a catered reception prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street.

She was a resident of Brandon Wilde Life Care Community in Evans, Georgia. Born in Macon, Ga. in 1925 to Dr. J. Herman and Mrs. Alva Ricks Lamm, she was the widow of Redding Crawford Souder, Jr. Mrs. Souder was a graduate of both Druid Hills High School in Atlanta and Wesleyan College in Macon. She was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Macon, a member of the Jackson Springs Garden Club and was a charter member of Highland Hills Baptist Church in Macon and a member of the Sarah Harrell Sunday School class.

She also enjoyed gardening and tending her roses both in Macon and Augusta, always keeping fresh-cut flowers in her house.

The family is grateful to her five devoted caregivers who are Polly Davis, Sharon Gant-Wadley, Sherry Sapp, Elizabeth Stone, Taishimia Wiley, and Cornelia “Coco” Smith.
