Jacquelin "Jackie" Cassetty

Jacquelin “Jackie” C. Cassetty, 77, of Gray, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, in Gray, Georgia. Elder Wesley Watkins will officiate.

Jackie was born on July 5, 1947, in Crawford County, Georgia, to the late Jack and Carrie Kendrick Causey. She attended A.L Miller High School and married Joe Cassetty.  Jackie was a florist for over fifty years and even owned her own floral shop in downtown Macon. She loved to fish, read romantic novels, sew, and work on arts and crafts, but her passion was working with flowers.  She was blessed to be able to make a living with something she enjoyed doing.  Jackie also loved her family.  She and Joe were married for over forty-two years before he passed away in 2011.

Jackie is survived by her children; Katrina Crumpler (Wes) and Mary Jo Cassetty; her grandchildren, Melissa Helfer (Timothy) and Alek Crumpler; her great-grandchildren, Makayla Helfer and Makenzie Helfer; her sister, Edna Roberts, Mary Hutto, and Bertha Dudley.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe and her parents, Jack and Carrie Causey.
